Football!

It's Laundry day! First time since being on the trip actually, so it's much needed! That was the first order of business this morning followed by a big Sunday breakfast getting geared up for our football day. Uncle Dave and I also took a quad ride to feed the deer again. But this time we came back and ended up on the road and found some bear hunters. They walk on the road and let the dogs flush them out so they can shoot them...interesting approach but I don't agree with bear hunting. You know you are in the country when people can just walk up and down the streets with guns hung over their shoulders and dogs running all around looking for bears.

But we left them, parked the quad and I headed in to work on some book keeping for this trip (a lot more work then I thought it would be), and Dave went out to work on his latest carving which will someday be a wolf. Aunt Vicki and I watched the pre-game interviews and when the Vikings came on Uncle Dave and the dogs came in to watch the game with us. GO VIKINGS! (they lost 23 to 26) But it was a nail biting game all the way into overtime!

Movies, wood carving, pasta, war, apple cake and ice cream is how today ended. Just a chill day.
